A backend developer successfully created a backend system capable of handling trading requests such as placing, modifying, and canceling orders. The system also integrated with the trading platform to receive reference data.

Solution

The solution involved developing a backend system that facilitated trading operations such as placing, modifying, and canceling orders. The system was designed to handle requests such as purchasing a specific amount of Bitcoin, sending these requests to the trading platform, and processing the responses. 

A critical component of the solution was ensuring the system passed the certification tests required by the trading platform. The team followed a detailed certification guide provided by the platform, which outlined each step of the testing process, specifying what data needed to be sent and what responses were expected. Successfully completing these steps was essential for the system to be certified and operational.

To support this, the solution included automated testing designed primarily to meet the certification requirements. These tests ensured that the system correctly processed all necessary operations and met the platform’s standards.

Additionally, the system subscribed to updates from the trading platform, including changes in symbols, tokens, and other assets. Whenever the platform sent an update, the system processed it and relayed the information to other subscribed services. The main focus was on ensuring smooth communication with the trading platform and passing the certification required for operation.
