HQSoftware Helps Customer Promote Product at Slush 2016

The product is a VoIP messenger that allows drawing on a shared image during a call. By adding a visual edge to audio communication, it helps users to better explain, and understand ideas. The Sessio app promises to be especially useful in healthcare, construction and maintenance works, digital content creation, insurance, and other areas.

Sessio and HQSoftware joined efforts to come up with a stand that would really attract and engage visitors. “There was a short video looped on a screen so that attendees could easily grasp the idea behind the product. And, of course, our team was always there to share more information. In addition to that, the app had already been published on Google Play so everyone could try it right away on their phones”, said Natalia Atamanyuk.

According to Vasily Tarasevich, who himself was showcasing the app to potential investors, networking at Slush exceeded all the expectations, has resulted in multiple strategic acquaintances. “For example, a car-sharing company approached us with an idea of integrating their app with Sessio to help clients better describe car problems while talking to support representatives. Moreover, several attendees expressed a willingness to help Sessio promote their product in China”, he said.

Sessio also got media coverage, which was as important for the startup company as attracting investors. Considering that this year Slush gathered about 700 journalists, Vasily believes Sessio is likely to become well-known on the Finnish B2B market, at the very least.

Eventually, Sessio was ranked among the top 100 startups out of 1,700 teams that had the right to pitch at Slush. “It’s a great result, taking into account that this was Sessio’s first appearance at an event like this”, said Vasily.
